Ghostship Lanterns may have paid homage to Buzz Aldrin and the Apollo astronauts with their song Hey Buzz, but we're equally in awe of the Russian space pioneers, which is why we liked this story about rocket hero Yuri Gagarin being honoured 50 years after he was first launched into space  in Vostok 1, a tin can tied to a rocket. Good to hear that his statue will be placed in the Mall, too. Yuri, we salute you!

With the Ghostship Lanterns being the World's best and in fact only purveyors of the musical genre Moonrock, I thought that it was worth pointing out that the moon was closer to the Earth this weekend than it has been in nearly twenty years, hence it appearing larger and brighter than normal, for those that noticed - the perfect weekend for GSL to release their two track EP - Hey Buzz :-)

Thank you to all who came to our St Patrick's Day acoustic show down in Tooting, especially Rachel for taking pictures and filming the whole thing!

We met a drummer at the gig who seems to dig what we're doing so we're hoping to have a rehearsal session with him sometime soon - watch this space.
